The weekend of August 19, 2006 and the reuniting of The CSSS Class of 86 at the Glory Days 20 Year High School Reunion has drawn to a close. This photo blog was created to capture the feeling and fun that happened through Friday's Social Night at The Vault Pub & Grill-Downtown Chilliwack, and at Saturday's Dinner and Dance held at The Evergreen Hall.
On Saturday night, the cocktail hour(s) were launched with live music from Trevor McDonald & Kat. An incredible dessert buffet was presented following a chicken barbeque dinner. Brad Hagkull-Valedictorian for our Class of 86 spoke with Bryan Bickley-Historian for our Class of 86 following. They both did a fantastic job. Karen de Nevers, who served as MC for the evening, presented a video for all in attendance that included photos from the Jr. High and Sr. High years of all '86 Grads. Door prizes were handed out and awards were received by Duane Prodeahl for the Most Changed Grad and Paula Mulherin for the Least Changed Grad. We had Grads who traveled from all parts of BC, Alberta and Ontario and a gift was given to Lisa Lewis (Grad who traveled the greatest distance to be with us) from London, England. Proceeds of a portion of the money charged for the night's beverages were given as a Gift of Friendship to The Hope River Classic, a fun walk/run/wheel event launched the morning of the reunion by The Hagkull Family to raise awareness and funds towards Spina Bifida. The hall was then turned over to our DJ to take us into the next day...
Toasts were given... Memories were shared... It was truly a night of nights....
Here's to Glory Days.... Here's to the Class of 86.... God Bless.
